Brain Storming

On the first day of our brainstorming we split up into equal groups and gathered many ideas of the themes we wanted our short film to relate to.
We came up with plenty different themes and presented them to each members of the group and came up with the Mysterious Comedy theme to relate our short film to.
We had different plots and script ideas to chose from which they were the 'Teen Pregnancy, Mental Health, Rape, Drugs and a Comedy' with all these ideas we concluded our thoughts with choosing the comedy short film.

My thoughts of the process of brainstorming was a very good start into gathering thoughts and ideas from many perspectives. This helped us to pick a plot and develop on that particular theme. I was inspired by the dramatical Turkish soaps that i had interest in. Watching these kind of soaps also helped me to develop my ideas into picking a story to write about with all the dramatics and humorous moments in.

Storyboarding

We used the storyboards not only to establish an idea for a film but also to establish what shots we needed for which scenes. The dialogue between the characters, after then selecting the storyboard idea we wanted. Under the direction of our Action Dog team we looked at the scenes, decided on the right shots and developed the dialogue after which we decided on  a cast for each role as well as the signing a crew, sound recordist, art director, director of photography went out to scout the perfect locations for our scenes. Once we had our cast crew and locations we was set to make 'Amnesia'.

Locating Locations

To find the correct location for each scenes we had to investigate the whole of the college grounds to see which area suits best. We didn't want to keep the locations simple, we wanted to expand ideas and make use of the whole college to make it more interesting.

Filming

We as a group think that the most interesting part of the production of 'Amnesia' was the filming.
It was enjoyed by every members of the group where everyone had a role to be busy with throughout.
We was all adapted to our roles and working as a team helped our production to improve stage by stage. Everyone was happy with what has been produced, all ideas where taken into account and was included in the project to build up to a high standard of an entertaining short production of a film.

'Amnesia' was filmed in only a day. This shows our reliability to our aim as a team.

Editing

We must admit the editing part of the production was the most difficult part as we all tried our best to use the best parts of many of the scenes we took. Each and everyone in the team had a scene to edit and crop all the unwanted bits to it. They developed the film by adding different types of effects and sound effects to make it stand out.
